1. Who we are and what we do
MyLocalCV ("we", "us"), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 70712387, VAT number NL002184702B43, e-mail info@mylocalcv.com. We provide professional CV-writing services: CVs, cover letters and related documents adapted to the conventions of specific countries. By ordering on mylocalcv.com you agree to these terms.
2. Ordering and payment
- You place an order via the order form and pay in advance through our payment provider Stripe. All prices are one-time payments — no subscription — and include VAT where applicable.
- Your order is confirmed once payment is received. Right after payment you receive an intake form by e-mail; the delivery time starts when you return the completed intake form.
- Extras selected in the order form are invoiced via one combined payment link. An order (including extras) is only final after full payment.
3. Delivery
- Standard delivery is within 48 hours after receiving your completed intake form; Premium packages and the Express upgrade are delivered within 24 hours.
- Delivery takes place by e-mail: a recruiter-ready PDF plus, depending on your package, an editable (Word) version.
- If we cannot meet the deadline (for example because intake information is incomplete), we will inform you as soon as possible with a new delivery time.
4. Revisions
- Every package includes free revision rounds (Basic: 1, Plus: 2, Premium: 3), which you can request within 14 days after delivery.
- A revision covers wording, structure and correction of details — not a complete rewrite for a different target country or a different career direction.
- We process revision requests within 24 hours.
5. Money-back guarantee
Not satisfied with your CV, even after using your included free revisions? Tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will refund you in full. Refunds are issued via the same payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
6. Your responsibilities
- You provide accurate and complete information in the intake form. We write based on what you tell us — we cannot verify your work history.
- You are responsible for the truthfulness of the content of your CV. We advise on form and conventions, not on the facts.
- You check the delivered documents for factual errors before using them.
7. Intellectual property
Once fully paid, the delivered documents are yours to use without restriction for your own job applications. We may keep a copy for up to 12 months for revision and guarantee purposes (see our Privacy Policy); we never publish or reuse your content.
8. What we do not promise
We build your CV per the conventions of your target country with professional care, but we cannot guarantee interviews, job offers or visa outcomes. Hiring decisions depend on many factors outside our control.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect damages such as missed job opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
10. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Because our service concerns digital content made to your specification and delivered with your explicit consent, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right lapses once we start working on your order with your agreement. Our 7-day money-back guarantee (section 5) remains fully in force.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring the dispute before your own court.
